This is my cat, Zinnia. He can play an electronic version of catch the mouse 4 hours on the iPad. So is this an example of good screen time or bad screen time?

Class Dojo

This was easier than I thought it would be. I placed my three face to face classes of students into a Class Dojo. Let's see if I can make it work with 67 students.

IPads in Elementary

When I took a recent tour of an elementary school, I caught a view of their student iPad screens. Fair warning when you are visiting classrooms to check out their technology - not every application is used by the student and not every application is known by the teachers. You need to ask questions about what they use before you get too concerned about your own skillset.

Interactive White Boards

Computer Labs

When you become a new technology-using teacher you are bound to encounter computer labs. Some schools have completely abandoned them and replaced them with BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) programs. Our computer labs are no different. Here are two of my hardworking LTEC students working around the in house desktop machines.
