We have been discussing high-tech cheating this week. I was delighted to stumble across this one just the other day. A national examination in India for future teachers brought up this cobbled-together technology. A special communications device was inserted into the shoes of exam takers. Each shoe apparently went for $8000 and was designed to have people read answers to you which you would receive through earbuds lodged deep into your ears. Five people have been arrested in Rajasthan for trying to cheat in a crucial exam for selection of teachers for government schools. Officials said the candidates were found wearing “slippers” with Bluetooth devices fitted in the sole. [ Source ]
